New Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen has revealed that he is pleased with his club’s transfer activity this summer.
The Yorkshire club have been active in the transfer market this summer, having signed midfielder Mateusz Klich, goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald, attacker Ezgjan Alioski and Vurnon Anita.
Christiansen, who succeeded Gary Monk as manager of Leeds, has now revealed that he is happy with his clubs transfer deals thus far and looking forward to the new players gelling with the team.
He told the Yorkshire Post, “The recruitment has been pleasing. Some young players have come in to improve the team and we are happy with our signings.
“It is important for the new players and me that they were able to come to Austria with us. I am a new coach and they are new players so it is important we got together as soon as possible.”
The Whites narrowly missed out on a place in the promotion playoffs last season after finishing in seventh position on the Championship standings and Christansen will now be hoping to guide the club to promotion during the upcoming season.
