Leeds already has transfer shortlist, claims the new manager

Leeds vs Port Vale

The newly appointed Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen stated that his club has already made a shortlist of potential arrivals.

According to Express, the Spanish coach said that Leeds director of football Victor Orta and other club officials had made a list of possible transfers even before he was signed.

Christiansen has added that some changes are possible and that Leeds needs high-quality players who can create a strong, and competitive squad.

The primary goal for the former Barcelona player is reaching the Premier League. The Peacocks are 13 seasons outside the top division in English football.

Thomas Christiansen, who previously signed a two-year deal, expressed his confidence about this job, claiming that he has no fears and pressure because of the expectations from Leeds fans.

“I believe in myself and what I’m doing,” he added.

To remind you, Christiansen,44, took Leeds United after winning the title in Cyprus, where he coached APOEL Nicosia. He also reached the finals of Cypriot Cup, but failed to win this competition.
