Long-term Arsenal target reportedly on his way to Tottenham

Djibril Sidibe, a young French right-back, could snub Arsenal after all and move to Tottenham during the summer transfer window, according to reports from HITC.

Arsenal were engaged in talks over the player last July when he was in Lille, and the reported fee discussed for the potential transfer was in the region of £12 million.

However, the negotiations failed in the end, and Sidibe moved from Lille to Monaco, where he fully demonstrated his incredible talent.

The 24-year-old is currently regarded as one of the best full-backs in the world and now Tottenham have moved ahead of Arsenal in the race to sign the French international.

Tottenham are in need of a replacement for this particular position, with Kyle Walker set to leave the club for Manchester City and Sidibe could be the ideal solution.

Sidibe is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League at the moment, and a transfer to Tottenham could be on the cards soon.
