Wiki
Jaguares Chiapas

Chiapas just lost its permanence in the Liga MX and relegated into the Ascenso MX. This is a huge worry for the players, ownership, and everyone involved in the club.

Most players are worried about their uncertain futures and where they will play next season. For Jonathan Fabbro this has become the least of his worries with the latest news that came about today. The 35-year-old forward has been accused of raping a minor in Argentina, where he is a naturalized citizen. According to the news channel C5N, the act was made anywhere from 2014 to 2016.

It has also been reported by the same news channel that there is evidence against Fabbro. This includes family testimonies, messages that include Fabbro and even medical tests done to the minor. It is unclear how the Paraguayan-born player will handle the situation but it has been said that the authorities will look for Fabbro in Mexico to extradite him if needed.

The veteran forward had been having a solid campaign with Chiapas, scoring four goals and obtaining an assist. It was unclear if Fabbro was going to stay in the Liga MX but despite his age did look to be a useful player for a mid-table side. The news is shocking and it will be interesting to see how everything turns out for Jonathan Fabbro.
