After Leeds United’s 3-1 victory over Birmingham City on Friday evening, Whites winger Hadi Sacko jokingly tweeted that his team-mate Chris Wood may be headed to Real Madrid.

This in all likelihood is not going to happen. Nevertheless it may raise concerns for Leeds fans that Wood will be set for a move to greener pastures soon.
The New Zealand international has been in superb form this season, having bagged 22 goals and has majorly contributed his club maintain a promotion push.
He also scored a brace during his team’s win over Birmingham, with his first goal coming in the 14th minute and then adding a second midway through the second half.
The form of Wood is also likely to play a major role in determining whether Leeds eventually do gain promotion to the Premier League or not.
The 25-year-old will also attract interest from Premier League clubs. Should Gary Monk’s side fail to gain promotion, the chances are very high that he will leave.
