Bruce uses inauspicious four letter word to describe Villa

Aston Villa boss Steve Bruce has been taking a lot of heat of late, they face a couple of winnable matches in the next six days. Ahead of it, the Villa boss has taken the time to speak very candidly to the media.

Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, Bruce has talked about the plight of the club. He said that he cares very “passionately for this job” before most interestingly saying that “there are good people here and have had nothing but s*** for years.”

Bruce is obviously referring to the fact that the club have been in relegation dog fights for the last five seasons. But he’s all too aware that they could easily be sucked into yet another one, albeit in the Championship, if they don’t start to turn results around here soon.

He says he is ‘confident’ in turning them around, however, despite how poorly they’ve played of late. Remember, they’ve brought in and seen a lot of players leave here recently, so that’s not helping.

A mid-table finish would be snatched by many a fan at this point, and Bruce would most likely also take it as well.
