Report: Manchester United’s young stars set for spells away from Old Trafford

A number of Manchester United youngsters are set to leave the club on loan this summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The report suggests James Wilson, Tyler Blackett, Sean Goss, Kieran O’Hara and Josh Harrop are all likely to head out on loan to various Football League clubs before the end of the transfer window.

The emergency loan window, which allowed the Football League clubs to sign players on loan for a maximum of three months even after the end of the summer transfer window, has been cancelled for the coming season.

This is likely to force the lower-league clubs to sign more players on loan this summer as they won’t be able to strengthen their squads until January once the current transfer window closes.

The aforementioned United youngsters are unlikely to get first-team action at United next season, so it’d be better for their development to head out on loan.

Wilson, Blackett, Harrop and O’Hara were part of the United squad for the 5-1 friendly win at Salford City yesterday, with Harrop scoring a brace.
