Manchester United will enter agreement for the transfer of young star in January

Old Trafford

Manchester United will allow young striker James Wilson to join Celtic on loan during the January transfer window, according to reports from the Daily Mail

James Wilson is considered as one of the finest young players to have emerged from the Manchester United academy in recent times and many expect the teenager to become a regular for the Red Devils first team in the coming years.

Wilson set for Celtic move

Given the fact that the likes of Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Marouane Fellaini are all ahead of him in the pecking order at United this season though, Wilson has had regular first team football hard to come by and his only appearance came as a substitute during the 3-0 defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates a fortnight ago.

As a result, Wilson had requested the United management to be allow to leave the club on a temporary basis and now according to reports from the Daily Mail, the 19-year old has reached an agreement to join Scottish champions Celtic on loan till the end of the season.

Celtic manager Ronny Deila has been in the market to sign a new striker as support to Leigh Griffiths and after having seen his pursuit of Carlton Cole fail, the Norwegian switched his attention to Wilson instead.

Wilson is currently in need of minutes on the pitch to continue his development as a player and a move to Celtic could certainly prove to be very beneficial for the young man.
