New Records Broken Under Moyes, New Coach For Manchester United?

After another defeat, the media are again analyzing all of the records David Moyes managed to achieve in his debut season. All of those records are negative, the fans are not satisfied, and they demand to sack the manager. While we wait to see what will happen to Moyes in the offseason, let us start with the newest list of failures made by Ferguson’s heir.

1)      Under his leadership, Manchester United was defeated 10 times this season – for the first time after founding Premier League, this happened to Red Devils.

2)      Most defeats at Old Trafford – it is clear that never before rivals won so many points as guests in Manchester.

3)      For the first time in one season, Man.United suffered defeats both home and away from Liverpool and Man.Citynobody is happy when local derby or match against biggest rival is lost, but those are things that worry every Man.United fan.

4)      Against teams in upper part of the table, Man.United triumphed only onceall the layers of crisis are described in this sentence.

5)      Against Man.City, Dzeko managed to score fastest goal for an away team – often combinations and unexpected decisions led to complete disorganization in the back line.

6)      Little teams won points at Old Traffordif we look at the calendar, we can say this: Everton triumphed for the first time after 22 years; WBA won three points as guest for the first time since 1978; Newcastle waited for triumph in Manchester for 41 year.

7)      Even if he (somehow) managed to win all of the upcoming games until the end of season, Man.United will still finish season with the least amount of points from the beginning of Premier League. And if we also add the fact that this season Red Devils scored least amount of goals in one season, it is clear that there are problems in all of the lines.

8)      And last, but not least, Moyes managed to lose three consecutive fixtures after more than 25 years – and to be honest, when we see who took points from Old Traford, this is not so surprising.

Even the greatest pessimist could not foresee crisis in these proportions, but apparently every start is difficult on its specific way.

And what is the opinion of our readers does Manchester United need to sack Moyes, or they think after the summer transfer window that things will be better ?
