Goalkeeper scores incredible last second goal in Mexican cup soccer final

Dorados of Sinaloa goalkeeper, Alfredo Frausto, had a game to remember not by the many saves he made to save his team from a loss, but rather from the goal he scored in the 92nd minute.  Dorados and Correcaminos faced each other in the first edition of the Mexican soccer Copa MX, and with seconds left for the game to end, the home team Correcaminos had a 2-1 lead.  At that moment, Dorados -who had one less man since a player had received a red card- had a last opportunity in a corner kick which would be the last play of the game.  Dorados keeper ran up to the attack and against all odds, the ball landed near his left foot, and like a top-class striker hit it with power to the opposing goalie’s right post.

All Dorados players raised their arms in euphoria, maybe in surprise because their goalie had scored the tying goal in the tournament’s final, but most importantly, that goal meant they had a chance to go to penalty kicks and win the game there.  And like a tiny version of a Hollywood movie, there was goalkeeper Frausto once again with the last shot in the penalty kicks.  If he made the shot then his team would be the cup champions; and  he did.
