Juventus defender, Giorgio Chiellini, has stated that Tottenham Hotspur striker, Harry Kane, is on the same level as Leo Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Neymar, that’s according to the Daily Mirror.
The Italian champions are set to meet the Spurs in the UEFA Champions League knockout stage, and the experienced centre-half is well aware his team has to put maximum efforts to keep a clean sheet against one of the most prolific goalscorers in Europe over the past couple of seasons.
The 24-year-old star has been outstanding since breaking into the Tottenham’s first-team, winning the Premier League top-scorer award for two consecutive seasons.
Even this year, the England international is the leading league’s goalscorer, with 23 goals, and Chiellini is confident Kane is among the best world players at the moment:
“Kane is now among the elite players in the world. Over the last years, with the goals he has scored, he has been on the level of the best.
“Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar — Kane has been on that level. He is one of those players that is irreplaceable – and I am sure that Tottenham will be doing all they can to make sure he stays,” he said.
It was Kane’s goal that made the difference in last weekend’s North London derby against Arsenal, and his recent form gives the Old Lady defenders every reason to worry.
