Lucas Moura has revealed that Serge Aurier played a role in his decision to join Spurs from PSG.
The 25-year-old joined Spurs on a three-and-a-half-year deal and cost Spurs £25 million.
He will be expected to provide competition and support to Harry Kane and after struggling for regular game time at PSG during the first half of the season, he will be hoping to play as regularly as possible with a view to winning selection to the France squad that will play in the 2018 world cup.
Moura’s move to the London Stadium sees him reunite with Aurier who he also played with at PSG.
He said: “Finding Serge? It’s really good for me. He told me a lot of good things about the club, the coach, the fans … I’m very happy to play with him again. He’s crazy, but he’s a great guy, a wonderful player.”
