Italian broadcast Journalist Andersinho Marques has claimed that Lucas Moura is now officially a Tottenham player.
The 25-year-old Moura is said to have met with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy as well as manager Mauricio Pochettino and is keen to finalize the move.
Moura was only used sparingly during the first half of the season and the club will be keen to sell him in order to ensure that they comply with FIFA Financial Fair Play regulations are forking out heavily in order to sign Neymar from Barcelona last summer. Moura boasts a fine record at the top level and is a quality talent.
He will definitely be a good signing for Spurs and they can also be delighted as he will be eligible to appear for them during their last-16 Champions League clash against Juventus as he has yet to appear in the Champions League this season.
Moura and Harry Kane could form a lethal partnership up front.
