According to German outlet Fussballeck, Celtic are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic.
Though the Hoops are currently comfortably sitting on top of the Scottish Premiership standings, they will likely look to continue bolstering their side ahead of their Europa League last 32 clash against Zenit St Petersburg.
It has been claimed that Rodgers is interested in bringing the 29-year-old Subotic to Parkhead though he will face competition from League 1 side Saint-Etienne.
Subotic has struggled to earn regular game time with Dortmund this season as he has gone on to make just five appearances for the club and considering that his contract will expire at the end of the season, Dortmund are likely to be willing to let him leave for a cut-price fee this month.
With height on his side, Subotic certainly has the capabilities to succeed in Scotland and it would be a major coup if Rodgers does manage to land him.
