Joey Barton has expressed his concerns about Theo Walcott joining Everton.
Walcott has struggled for game time this season after falling down the pecking order at Arsenal and he is expected to soon end his 12-year stay with Arsene Wenger’s side.
The 28-year-old Walcott is a versatile player as he can operate as both a forward and as a winger.
Though he will not get much better, he could still be a valuable addition to Sam Allaryce’s side due to his pace and vast experience at the highest level.
Barton who is a fan of Everton has however expressed his concerns about Walcott joining the Toffees.
Barton said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (7:15am, January 15, 2018): “My concern as an Evertonian would be how many games he is fit for. He can’t get into this Arsenal side, which is poor. Why should Everton sign him?”
