Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen has revealed that the club’s new signing Laurens De Bock will not play this Saturday when they take on Ipswich Town.
Many would have expected De Bock to play in the game after recently completing a move to Elland Road from Club Brugge.
The former Belgian U-21 international arrives at the Yorkshire giants with a big reputation and will be expected to be a success in the clubs defence.
It now appears though that Leeds fans will have to wait to see him in action as it is unlikely that he will play against Ipswich.
Christiansen said: “He signed, he went back (to Belgium), but in a few days he will be back again with the team, ready to train and ready to join the group.
“It is an interesting player in the left full-back position we have been searching for, so I think he will be a good signing.
“For this game against Ipswich it will not be possible (for him to play). But for the next week there is good possibilities.”
