The Daily Express reports that Liverpool’ manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to bring Borussia Dortmund superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Anfield this January.
The 28-year-old forward has been one of the deadliest strikers in Bundesliga for the last couple of years. Only last season, he had beaten Robert Lewandowski in the race for the league’s top goalscorer.
Aubameyang has continued to impress this year, as he scored thirteen goals in 15 games in the championship.
However after Dortmund’s failure in the Champions League, the former Milan striker will probably leave the club in January.
Klopp knows Gabonese player very well, as two of them have cooperated in Dortmund during his time there.
Nonetheless, the ‘Reds’ will have to allocate significant funds, as there is no doubt that Dortmund will demand a lot of money for their best striker.
Liverpool will also have to beat Real Madrid, as well as a couple of Chinese clubs for Aubameyang’s signature.
