According to reports, Liverpool have shortlisted three goalkeepers whom they could possibly sign in 2018.
Though the Reds have been fantastic in attack this season with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho all hitting top form, their backline has proven to be weak and is one of the reasons why they brought Virgil Van Dijk to the club this month.
Goalkeepers Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have also come under criticism and both have failed to convince that they can be long-term first choice options.
The Reds have now reportedly shortlisted three keepers in Jan Oblak, Roma keeper Allison as well as Stoke City’s Jack Butland.
Oblak would be an ideal purchase as he has proven that he is world-class, however his current contract with Atletico Madrid has a release clause of £100 million.
Meanwhile Butland could be a realistic target especially if Stoke do end up being relegated this season.
