Leeds United have completed the signing of talented Japanese defender Yosuke Ideguchi. He is however set to be sent straight on loan to Spanish club Cultural Leonesa.
The Whites have reportedly paid a fee in the region of £500 k to recruit the 21-year old from Gamba Osaka.
The loan spell is likely to allow Ideguchi to impress Leeds chiefs and it will also allow him to keep match sharp ahead of the 2018 World Cup where he is likely to be in the Japan squad.
The J-League finished last month and Ideguchi has not played since then.
He has scored two goals from ten appearances so far for the Japan national team and is regarded as one of the country’s best up and coming young talents.
During his time with Gamba Osaka, Ideguchi played 96 times and went on to score nine goals.
