According to a report published by the Daily Mail, Celtic are set to complete the signing of Australian youngster Leo Mazis after the 17-year old underwent a successful trial in November.
The midfielder who currently plays for semi-professional side Belconnen United is set to sign a three year contract next week.
Celtic already have one former player of Belconnen in their side and that is Tom Rogic. Mazis may not have ever played A-League football in his native land but judging from the fact that Celtic are looking to sign him, he obviously must have made an impression during his trial.
The Hoops will be hoping that he can emulate hid fellow countryman Rogic who has turned out to be a good signing.
Meanwhile the Hoops are reportedly close to completing other deals this week including that of St Mirren star Lewis Morgan and Dundee defender Jack Hendry.
