Liverpool reportedly set to allow duo to leave in January

Anfield

Liverpool are reportedly set to allow youngsters Ben Woodburn and Ovie Ejaria to leave the club on loan this month.

Both Woodburn and Ejaria broke into the Reds first team last season and have so far managed eight and nine appearances respectively.

They have however struggled for game time this season and a loan move at this time is probably the best move in order to allow the duo to gain more experience as well as maintain a high level of confidence.

Woodburn has been strongly linked with a move to struggling Championship club Sunderland.

The Black Cats are managed by Chris Coleman who was also the man that handed Woodburn his international debut for Wales in a World Cup qualifier against Austria in 2017.

Ryan Kent meanwhile is expected to return to Liverpool this month after failing to impress with German side Freiburg.

He managed just six appearances for Freiburg who are battling relegation.
