Arsenal legend Ian Wright has drawn comparisons between Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi and Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah.
Wright said: “I’m not saying he is as good as who I am going to say but dare I say it. He reminds me of [Lionel] Messi, the scampering way he plays, he has a Messi-vibe.”
Salah has proven to be one of the best signings of the summer since arriving at the Reds from Roma and has so far managed to score 23 goals from 29 games in all competitions this season.
He put in yet another impressive display on Saturday as he bagged a brace to lead Liverpool to a 2-1 win over Leicester City in the Premier League.
The win ensured that Jurgen Klopp’s side finished the year in the top four of the Premier League.
Salah is showing that he can be one of the world’s best players and Liverpool will need to win trophies in order to keep him for the long-term.
