Everton will reportedly have to splash £30million to land top January target
According to reports, Besiktas have upped their asking price for striker Cenk Tosun to around £30 million.
Everton were understood to be on the verge of recruiting Tosun this week with director of football Steve Walsh travelling to Turkey to finalize negotiations.
Tosun is a player who has been in good form this season and he has scored 14 goals in all competitions for Besiktas which have included eight in the Super Lig as well as four in the Champions League as he has helped his side reach the Last 16.
His form has attracted the interest of a variety of clubs including Roma, Valencia and RB Leipzig and this has caused Besiktas to up their price.
Everton meanwhile are expected to sign Tosun in the coming days and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to fill in the void that was left by RomeluLukaku.
