According to a report published by The Daily Mail, Everton are interested in signing Lille defender Adama Soumaoro.
The Toffees have shown improvement since Sam Allardyce was appointed as manager but they are still showing weakness in the centre-back position where Michael Keane is losing form and were there is nobody suitable to challenge the England international for a place in the side.
Building an improved defensive line is something that would serve the club well as they improve to improve their situation in 2018.
One of the players whom the club has reportedly been watching is Soumaoro who has been valued at around £20 million.
Soumaoro who is a player who appears to be in good form and according to squawka, he has won seven of nine aerial duels that he has faced and made 19 clearances, eight interceptions and eight blocks. He also has very impressive passing accuracy of 93%.
