West Ham could reportedly land top target in an audacious swap deal

Olympic Stadium

According to reports, Swansea are eyeing West Ham players in a deal which could see Alfie Mawson arriving at the London Stadium. One of the players who they are said to be interested in is Andre Ayew.

Ayew was previously on the books of the Swans during the 2015/16 season and ended up leaving the club during the summer of 2016 to join West Ham for £20 million.

He has however struggled to replicate the form that he showed at the Liberty Stadium for the Hammers and David Moyes could be asked to part ways with the Ghana international if he wants to sign Mawson who has been strongly linked with a move to the Hammers during recent weeks.

The Swans are reluctant to lose Mawson given that they are battling relegation.

However they may sell for around £23 million as they need to reshape their squad and could cut off part of the fee should they receive Ayew.
