Burnley boss Dyche refutes claims of an approach from Everton

Burnley manager Sean Dyche has claimed that Everton never approached him to become their new manager following the sacking of Ronald Koeman.

The 46-year-old was strongly linked with the Toffees and Crystal Palace managerial vacancies after both clubs underwent managerial changes this season but he has claimed that neither side approached him.

Dyche has a growing reputation and has been widely praised for the work that he has done as Burnley boss during the past five years.

When asked if any clubs have contacted him about his availability this season, Dyche replied saying, “No. I’ve been linked with this job or that job for three of the five years I’ve been here and the truth is that I enjoy the challenge here.”

The Clarets have been playing an impressive brand of football this season which will only serve to increase the chances of Dyche being approached by a big team in the future.
