According to reports, Liverpool are interested in signing Atletico Madrid full-back Sime Vrsaljko.
Vrsaljko is a regular within the Croatian national team and is likely to play at the World Cup next year, he has however struggled to nail down a place on a regular basis at Atleti this season and has gone on to make just four League appearances.
Though he is mainly a right-back Vrsaljko is versatile and can also operate as a left-back.
Liverpool have shown that they have one of the most lethal attacks in the Premier League with the likes of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho all delivering good performances regularly.
They have however struggled defensively and this is perhaps a reason why they will not be Premier League title contenders this season.
Jurgen Klopp will need to strengthen his defence in the near future and Vrsaljko could be one of the men whom he recruits.
