Real Madrid have reportedly entered the race to sign Liverpool’s Emre Can.
Can’s contract with the Reds is set to expire at the end of the season and he has yet to sign fresh terms with the Merseyside club which has led to speculation that he could leave the club amid interest from the likes of Juventus and Manchester City.
Can will be free to sign a pre contract agreement with another club in the New Year. Liverpool could also look to cash in on the player during the January transfer window if they do not want to lose him for free at the end of the season.
According to reports from Spain, Madrid have now entered the race to sign the player. Manager Zinedine Zidane is looking to sign a new central midfielder following his clubs disappointing start to the season and Can could be one of the names that they look to sign in January.
