Marco Silva speaks out once again on Everton speculation

Watford boss Marco Silva has called for the speculation linking him to the Everton managerial vacancy to end.

The Toffees parted ways with Ronald Koeman last month following their poor start to the season and have since been aiming to recruit Silva who has developed a reputation for being a highly rated young manager.

The search for Koeman’s successor has entered his fifth week and Everton are now preparing to look elsewhere in their search to find a manager who can help them avoid the drop this season.

Silva has now addressed the speculation on Thursday and highlighted that he would like for it to end.

“I will answer straight [and tell you] to stop because I don’t like to talk about speculation and all these things,” said the former Hull boss.

“I’m here to talk about our match Newcastle v Watford and nothing more. Okay, if you like the speculation continue in your way.

“I don’t like to talk nothing more about this because sometimes I talk and after you go in the other way. I don’t give one more word on this situation for you.”
