Manager rejects an approach from West Bromwich Albion

According to reports, former West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has turned down an approach from Premier League club West Brom.

Albion are currently without a manager after parting ways with Tony Pulis last week following a series of poor results.

The clubs Chinese owner Guochuan Lai was reportedly keen on speaking to Bilic about the vacancy however the Croatian, who was sacked as Hammers boss earlier on during the month, is not keen on making a return to football just as yet and is currently spending time with his family.

The Baggies meanwhile are looking for a manager who has Premier League experience. Bilic certainly has that as he managed the Hammers for two seasons and impressively managed to lead them to a 7th place finish in the Premier League during the 2015-16 season.

Former Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is currently the favorite to become new Baggies boss. He has also previously worked with Albion’s technical director Nicky Hammond at Reading.
