Leeds United are reportedly interested in Coventry City starlet Jodi Jones.
Pete O’ Rourke from respected football source Football Insider has claimed that scouts from Leeds have made regular checks on the attacker and that boss Thomas Christiansen and Victor Orta are keen to add new additions to their side.
Football Insider also say: “The source added that Coventry will be reluctant to lose Jones as they look to maintain their bid for promotion this season, but Leeds are ready to test their resolve to keep hold of the former Dagenham and Redbridge midfielder.”
The 20 year old Jones has been impressive this season and has so far scored four goals as well as registered eight assists from 19 appearances.
Leeds meanwhile are on an underwhelming run of form and are languishing in 10th place on the Championship standings after claiming 23 points from their 26 games played thus far.
They will look to bring in new recruits in January in order to try to achieve their goal which is to challenge for a place in the promotion playoffs.
