Liverpool midfielder Emre Can appears to be happy that Juventus are interested in signing him.
The German international’s current contract with the Reds is due to expire at the end of the season and he has yet to sign a new deal meaning that he could leave the club on a free transfer at the end of the season.
He has now told Kicker regarding Juventus’ interest, “It’s always an honour to receive an offer from such a renowned club, but currently I am only focused on the season with Liverpool.
“My agent takes care of the rest. The Premier League is just a really cool league, the most interesting in the world, but you must always respect other big clubs and leagues. You never know what will happen. And I don’t know what Jurgen Klopp plans.”
Considering that Juventus regularly win trophies in Italy and have been doing well in the Champions League during recent years, Can will surely be tempted if they do present him with an offer.
He may also be looking at a fresh challenge due to the Reds inability to win major silverware during recent years.
