England national team manager Gareth Southgate has said that Harry Kane is the best finisher that he has ever worked with.
Kane scored his 15th goal for club and country this season on Sunday to seal a 1-0 win for his country against Lithuania in a World Cup qualifier.
The penalty that the Spurs star scored during the game also marked his seventh international goal from his last six games and he will surely now be the favorite to captain the Three Lions at the 2018 World Cup in Russia next year.
Following the game, Southgate praised the efforts of his striker and added that he is the greatest finished that he has seen. He said, “It’s a fantastic record. His finishing quality is top, as good as anyone I’ve played with or worked with.
“I’m never in doubt that, if he has a good opportunity, it’ll be on target and there’s a fair chance he scores. We’re fortunate to have him.
