Kevin Keegan has drawn comparisons between Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli to Netherlands football legends Johan Cruyff and Johan Neeskens.
Kane and Alli are arguably two of the best English prospects in years and with them at the helm of the Three Lions, one can expect that the nation could end their trophy drought in the year future.
England assured themselves of qualification to the World Cup next year by claiming a 1-0 win over Slovenia last week thanks to an injury time goal from Kane.
The goal also meant that the Spurs talisman has now scored six times from his last five international games.
Keegan compared the duo of Kane and Alli to the Dutch legends, saying, “It’s important everyone stays fit. Not just Kane, but also Dele Alli. You want all your best players, and then you have got a chance.
“If you went to a World Cup and you took, let’s say, Johan Cruyff and Johan Neeskens out of the great Dutch side, people would not be surprised if they lost.”
