Celtic star Tom Rogic has blasted Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha after the Portuguese boss was involved in a confrontation with Bhoys captain Scott Brown this weekend.
Caixinha confronted Brown after he appeared to elbow striker Alfredo Morelos and had to be calmed down by midfielder Ryan Jack.
After the game, Rogic blasted Caixinha and added that Bhoys manager Brendan Rodgers would never get involved in such an incident.
He said, “I don’t know. That’ s up to him. You certainly wouldn’t see our manager getting involved in anything like that. I think that maybe says a little bit about their situation and where they are.”
Celtic went on to win the Old Firm derby against their arch-rivals 2-0 and victory saw them establish an eight point lead over the Gers. The result also means that Rangers have lost three times to Celtic during the past six months.
