This Tuesday, September 19, 2017 (7:36 PM Pacific) Chivas of Guadalajara will host Atlas at the Estadio Chivas for a match in the round of 16 in the Copa MX. The game should be one of the best in this round of Copa MX matches between arch-rivals and should produce a hard-fought and entertaining encounter.

How to Watch Chivas vs Atlas
Chivas vs Atlas Copa MX Preview
Chivas of Guadalajara has been struggling in the Liga MX but had a good run in the group stage of the Copa MX, finishing second in Group 7 with nine points. Los Rojiblancos had two wins against FC Juarez and a win and a loss against Santos Laguna during the group stage phase. Even though Chivas has been struggling massively in the Liga MX, this is a distinct competition and should make it past this round with the home-field advantage. Matias Almeyda should play most of his consistent Liga MX starters in this game because of the intensity of the Clasico Tapatio and Chivas should provide a strong performance.
Atlas has also been struggling in Liga MX play but finished second in Group 3 with nine points in the Copa MX. Los Rojinegros were in a strong group with Potros UAEM and Club America and just came second in the group because of goal differential. Jose Guadalupe Cruz already has massive pressure from the fans and needs a positive result from this game. This means that “Profe” Cruz is likely to start most of his key starters and may even give some minutes to Ravel Morrison.
It will be interesting to see how the Englishman performs in such an important game if he does play, as he has been unable to make much of an impact so far. This will be an extremely tough game for a dismantled and fragile Atlas team but since it is a Clasico the team’s current form and problems should not make an impact on the encounter.
