There is good and bad news for Newcastle ahead of their game against Swansea on Sunday.
Jonjo Shelvey is expected to return to action following his red-card ban while DeAndre Yedlin and Florian Lejeune could feature after recovering from muscle and ankle problems respectively.
Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic will however miss the game as he starts his three match ban. The Serbian international has been banned after appearing to elbow Manuel Lanzini during the Magpies last game against West Ham which they won 3-0.
Along with Mitrovic, Chanel Mbemba and Paul Dummett are also expected to miss the game through injury problems.
Manager Rafa Benitez is also unlikely to attend the game after he underwent an operation this week and assistant Paco Moreno is in line to deputize for the Spanish manager as well as do the press conferences.
The club could be boosted by the return of Dwight Gayle though, who has recovered from a hamstring problem.
