How Leeds United players finished up during the International break

It won’t be long now until we see the Whites of Leeds United back on the pitch together, but how exactly did they do when they dispersed to play for their nations in the second set of matches during the break? Here’s a look.

Ezgjan Alioski

The Macedonians faced off with dreaded rivals Albania in World Cup qualifying Tuesday, and they came away with a point from a 1-1 affair.

Alioski played all 90 minutes for his side as they slump to fifth place in the group and have no shot at advancing any further.

Stuart Dallas

Monday saw Dallas and his Northern Ireland side clinch second place and a spot in the playoff rounds of UEFA qualifying to come in the following months.

Germany are five points clear, and likely to go clinch soon unless they lose both matches and see Northern Ireland win both of theirs. Dallas started and featured for 74 minutes as they ran out 2-0 winners at home to Czech Republic.

Pontus Jansson

Sweden went three points clear of the Netherlands in the group and are just a point behind leaders France in their group in qualifying, making their last two matches pressure-packed with plenty to play for. Jansson was once again an unused substitute for his side.
