Southampton boss praises 29-year-old following disappointment

Southampton’s boss Mauricio Pellegrino stated that Fraser Forster is without a doubt one of the best goalkeepers in the whole league.

Saints manager told this after Forster didn’t receive an invitation for the English national team squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

The Argentinian coach is thrilled with the recent performances from the 29-year-old, and he has decided to back him up after he was left out from the national team.

“Fraser is for me one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.” Saints boss has told according to Daily Echo.

The former Celtic goalkeeper was excellent in a goalless draw between Southampton and Huddersfield which took place this Saturday. After that game, the fans of the club from St. Mary’s praised the goalie by saying that he was the best player on the pitch

English national team is about to play against Malta and Slovakia during next week and Forster will surely have been left disappointed by the omission.
