Paris-Saint Germain have beaten Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign highly rated Argentinean youngster Juan Foyth.
Spurs had been linked with a move for Foyth and were said to be favorites to sign him though an eventual deal stalled after both parties could not reach an agreement.
Now Foyth’s deal to PSG is expected to be soon finalized. The youngster is keen on moving into Europe and will have to work hard in order to try and win himself a place in the first team at PSG. It remains to be seen if he made the correct decision.
A move to Spurs would have definitely been appealing especially considering that Mauricio Pochettino has a reputation for turning young talent in superstars as he has done with Harry Kane and Dele Alli.
Spurs will know that they will need to make one or two reinforcements this summer. They are the only club in the top flight of English football that have yet to make a signing.
