Tottenham youngster Kyle Walker-Peters has revealed that he feels that it may be difficult for Spurs players to adjust to the size of the pitch at Wembley.
The North London club will play all of their home matches this season at Wembley with their new stadium expected to be completed ahead of the 2018/19 season.
The 20-year-old Walker-Peters is highly rated and could be handed a golden opportunity to start after the club’s first choice right back Kieran Trippier suffered an injury which is set to rule him out for the teams opening match of the season against Newcastle.
Though Walker-Peters said that he enjoyed the experience of playing first team football for Spurs at Wembley, he admitted that adjusting could be a challenge.
He said, “It’s incredible, something I’ll never forget. I enjoyed it a lot. It’s a bit of a challenge, a lot of running but overall I’m happy and delighted to gain that experience.
“Of course, the England national team plays most of their games here and it’s good to get this experience so early in my career.”
