Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho trained with the club on Tuesday at the club’s Melwood base amid speculation that he could be set to join Barcelona.
The Catalan giants have reportedly made the 25-year-old Coutinho a priority target as a replacement for Neymar, who left the club to join PSG in a World record deal.
Reports in Spain have also stated that directors from Barcelona are in England to begin talks with Liverpool over a possible sale of the Brazil international.
Liverpool have maintained that Coutinho is not for sale and have not been in contact with the Spanish giants since rejecting an offer of £72 million for the player.
Coutinho reportedly wishes to join the La Liga club but will not do so unless the Reds sanction a sale. The Brazilian is said to be the number one target of Barcelona, who are also interested in signing Thomas Lemar as well as Ousmane Dembele.
