According to reports, Tottenham still have hope of signing Argentinean youngster Juan Foyth despite being outbid by French giants PSG in the race to sign the starlet.

Mauricio Pochettino views the 19-year-old as a possible candidate to provide competition for Kieran Trippier next season following the departure of Kyle Walker to Manchester City.

Foyth reportedly prefers a move to England where he can work with fellow Argentinean Pochettino, where he feels he will stand a better chance of breaking into the first team.

Spurs are reportedly willing to offer Estudiantes £6.25 million for the player with a further £2.75 million depending on performance related bonuses.

PSG on the other hand, are willing to offer £9 million up front.  It remains to be seen what will eventually be decided on by Estudiantes and Foyth himself. Tottenham are however not willing to offer the full sum of money up front.
