According to reports, Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen wishes to sign a new defender this summer. The Whites are looking to make at least three more signings as they look to bolster their side ahead of next season.
The Yorkshire giants however have few defenders available to them and will need to bolster their options ahead of the new season. Though they managed to add Everton youngster Matthew Pennington to their side, the only experienced other options in the side are Liam Cooper and Pontus Jansson.
The club saw Kyle Bartley and Charlie Taylor depart from the club, in moves that would have disappointed many fans. Taylor left under rather controversial circumstances by refusing to play towards the end of last season.
In addition to adding new defenders, Christiansen reportedly also wants to add more forwards to his side, however he feels more confident with his options in that department.
After narrowly missing out on a place in the promotion playoffs last season, the Whites will be hoping to challenge for promotion during the upcoming season.
