According to reports, Tottenham will have to pay £22 million to land Ricardo Pereira. They reportedly view the 23-year-old Pereira as a replacement for Kyle Walker, who recently left the North London club to join Manchester City.
Pereira spent the last two seasons on loan with French club Nice and is a versatile player, able to operate on both flanks. He also boasts two caps for the Portugal national team, the last of which came in 2015.
There is a good chance that Spurs will aim to sign Pereira with great intent this summer. They need to bring in a player to provide completion to first choice right back Kieran Trippier next season.
Youngster Kyle Walker-Peters has yet to make a senior appearance for Mauricio Pochettino’s side and though the 20-year-old is highly rated, he still needs to develop further before he can be considered for first team selection.
