According to reports, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is set to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers and link up with Reading.
Though Ipswich are also interested, they are only keen on a loan deal and Wolves are looking to sell, meaning that Reading will be the favorites at this stage.
Bodvarsson, who arrived at Wolves last summer, struggled for form last season, scoring just three goals from 42 appearances, 20 of which came off the bench.
The 25-year-old was given extended time off this summer due to the exhaustive playing schedule which he has had to undergo for the best two years.
It now appears that he is not part of new Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo’s plans for the upcoming season and will be leaving the club.
The club will be looking to possibly recoup the £1 million fee that they paid to recruit the Iceland international from German club Kaiserslautern.
