According to reports, Celtic could be set to offer Montenegro striker Luka Djordjevic a trial after he was allowed to leave Zenit St Petersburg.
Djordjevic joined Zenit as an 18-year-old but never really settled into life during his spell with the club and had loan spells with Sampdoria in Italy, Spanish second tier club Ponferradina and Dutch outfit Twente Enschede.
He had three years remaining on his contract at the Russian club this summer but asked to leave as he was struggling to play on a regular basis.
It now appears that he will be offered trial by the Scottish giants, which may be a good opportunity for him to resurrect his career.
The Hoops have thus far recruited Jonny Hayes, Kundai Benyu and Olivier Ntcham this summer as they look to defend their treble successes of last season. They will however need to add in more recruits.
