Sunderland have added the experienced duo of Aiden McGeady and James Vaughn to their side ahead of the upcoming Championship season.
The 31-year-old McGeady enjoys a good relationship with Black Cats boss Simon Grayson, having played under him during his loan spell with Preston North End last season.
McGeady scored eight goals for Preston last term and also boasts 90 caps for the Republic of Ireland national team.
James Vaughn also had a stellar season in League One in the previous campaign, scoring 24 goals from 37 games and will be bolstering the strike force of the Black Cats following the departures of Jermain Defoe and Fabio Borini.
Vaughn also boasts several goals in the Premier League, the last of which came in 2011 during his time with Everton. There is no doubt that the experienced duo are good additions for the Sunderland side ahead of next season.
