According to reports, Everton are still determined to sign Gylfi Sigurdsson despite Swansea placing a £50 million price tag on his signature.
Sigurdsson was involved in 22 goals for his side last season and played a key role in helping the team avoid relegation from the Premier League.
He will likely be keen on a move to Goodison Park considering that they are a side that are progressing and will be aiming to challenge for a place in the top four next season.
At 27, he is also arguably at the peak of his career and given that Everton have bigger aspirations than Swansea currently, a move will surely be enticing.
The Toffees have so far been very active in the transfer window and have spent close to £100 million on signing the likes of Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Sandro Ramirez, Davy Klaasen, Henry Onyekuru, Nathangelo Markelo and former youth product Wayne Rooney.
