According to reports, Sunderland are eyeing the signature of Bournemouth winger Max Gradel.
New Black Cats boss Simon Grayson needs to bolster his side ahead of next season and is eyeing Gradel to add quality to his side.
What could work in Sunderland’s favor in the pursuit of this player is the fact that Grayson and the Gradel had previously worked together at Leeds United.
Whilst playing under Grayson at the Whites, Gradel was impressive and managed to notch 25 goals form 85 appearances.
Gradel will also be keen to secure more regular game time. During the past season, he struggled to win a place in the Bournemouth first team and managed to play in only 13 matches in all competitions.
Many clubs are interested in Gradel but Sunderland could have a good chance of signing him considering that the player and Grayson do share a close relationship and such a move will allow the player to play regularly.
